Here is the 2010-2011 school calendar. Should you have any questions, please give us a call. (Click Here)
2010-2011 Schools of Choice, Still Available
Olivet Community Schools now participates in the Schools of Choice 105 & 105c program for the 2010-2011 school year. Applications are available
in the Superintendent's Office at 255 First Street, Olivet MI, or by calling (269) 749-9129 or we would be glad to mail you an application.
Section 105c allows parents to now enroll at Olivet Community Schools without needing a release from their current/resident school district (this includes Charlotte, Eaton Rapids, Maple Valley and Springport too).
Students who were enrolled at Olivet Community Schools in the 2009-2010 school year as a SOC Section 105 student, you DO NOT need to complete and summer verification form. You will be asked to complete the annual "Emergency/ Enrollment Form" that includes parental statements on the back of the form (along with all other students) that will satisfy the verification process.
If you were a "Non-Resident" student enrolled at Olivet Community Schools in the 2009-2010 school year (from Maple Valley, Eaton Rapids or Springport), you may apply for a Schools of Choice (Section 105c) slot. This will allow your continuous enrollment at Olivet without needing to obtain a an annual "release" from your resident school district.
Due to construction in the middle school and Superintendent's Office beginning June 28th, you can reach us by calling or entering through the 4th/5th grade wing of OMS. Follow the signs that are posted.
Late applications will be accepted and placed on a waiting list and will be processed on a "first come, first served" basis if and when additional slots become available. Questions may be directed to the Superintendent's Office at (269) 749-9129.
All Schools of Choice documents are saved as pdf files. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view these documents. Please click here if you need to download the program for free.
